Technical capability: Having experience of the requisite number of years of practice in District & Sessions Court by handling Criminal cases (IPC, Factories Act, NiAct, Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, etc and complete knowledge of Cr P C and CPC.

Managerial capability: Decision making, Team building and Customer satisfaction.

From these competencies, it is clear that the managerial capability to be explored in an incumbent is: To be able to lead a team of approx 15 members comprised of officers and non-officers and build synergy with the dealing Advocates, and proficient in giving instructions to the Advocates of District and Sessions, High Courts and Supreme Court in the work to be handled.

1. Primary Responsibility: The position is primarily required to handle the work at the following locations in the respective judicial and quasi-judicial courts mentioned below:
2. Understand legal hurdles in smooth functioning of business and provide advice on the same for all issues arising primarily in Jamshedpur and for out-locations as and when referred.
3. Handle litigation in cost effective manner and to get desired results with strategic planning and implementation by interacting with Advocates at all levels in District Court, High Courts and Supreme Court
4. Proactively engage with the stakeholder to find alternate ways of pre-empting litigation by pre-litigation dialogue.
5. Build capability of the resources by effectively building the team & man management.
6. Total office management for smooth functioning of the department.
7. Provide legal support to Associate/Subsidiary companies, on need basis
