Job Description

Systems responsibility : Developing the systems portfolio so that it supports the business needs for fast implementation of new services along with relevant level of STP. Developing the systems architecture in close cooperation with lead developers in the department to build systems that can be extended on and that will enable future and faster development as needed.

 

Developers responsibility: As manager for the developers in the department, responsible for setting expectations, providing development opportunities and evolving the skill level of the team to match the future needs of the department. Expect developers to be able to work directly with end users, prioritize critically and both understand the business processes as well as excel in the technical skills needed to perform the development.

Delivery responsibility: Will be responsible for the departments deliveries according to the agreed development plan. It is important to deliver what business needs at any given time, so must ensure an ongoing prioritization process together with key stakeholders from business area. Will be responsible for grooming new business tasks to a level where they can be taken up by the development team. Alignment and coordination with other departments across all geographical locations on business tasks and development of practices.

Desired Profile

Key skills required:

  • Experience as manager for IT developers
  • Experience with maintenance or operations of IT systems supporting financial applications .
  • Strong domain skills regarding Personal Banking, Cards and Advisory systems
  • Technical skills to be able to set direction on our systems portfolio in close cooperation with lead developers.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent English written and spoken
