Desired Profile | To act as a driving and monitoring authority for the implementation of the policy and associated documents. Be responsible for protection of Company’s property, personnel, material and information. •Roles and responsibilities of Manager-Security would be to Disseminate the Security Policy and Procedures and ensure effective implementation at each location. Ensure that risk assessment activity is performed on a periodic basis to assess emerging threats; bearing in mind the legal, statutory, contractual and business requirements. Prepare yearly security budget and ensure effective implementation of resources. Develop and maintain good liaison with law enforcement agencies, media, and health and safety services and nearby industries. Be aware of political and law & order situation at all locations Coordinate with key stakeholders in the organization and GM-Security to ensure the smooth functioning of the security processes. Ensure effective implementation of security organization structure / deployment of staff and monitor performance of On-roll, outsourced security staff and security agency on a regular basis to. Identify and justify the new manpower, process and technology requirements, rationalize existing resources and procure the new resources as per the procedures Develop, implement, monitor and continually improve the intelligence, vigilance and investigation framework. Effectively implement the organization wise Crisis and incident management framework to manage physical security incidents/Crisis that may cause disruption to business processes. Exercise due diligence in selection of security service providers (private security agencies and security hardware and software vendors) and incorporate stringent enforceable quality requirements and service standards. Ensure development and implementation of organization wide robust security training and awareness. Coordinate actions during periodic internal and external security audits of all locations to test/validate “sufficiency” and “effectiveness” of existing controls. Assist the GM, Security in discharge of his responsibilities and take his place at times of his absence from duty for any reason. |
