Designation Head - Industrial Sales( Direct)
Job Description
  1. Strategy Planning – Direct Business
    1. Strategizing the medium & long term business directions to ensure maximum profitability in line with organizational objectives for Direct Business.
  2. Business Development
    1. Identify the potential customers for the Industrial products & devise plans for Acquiring/ improving share of wallet.
    2. Initiating and developing relationships with key decision makers with Key Accounts for business development.
    3. Assessing requirements & conducting negotiations for delivering need based products to Key Clients.
  3. Commercial Activity
    1. Provide support for generating Tender Business.
    2. Provide Tech-commercial support to Key Accounts in term of quotation, finalization of tender document, submission and negotiations for securing business.
    3. Ensuring speedy resolution of queries & grievances to maximize client satisfaction levels.
    4. Implement norms for inventory level and outstanding and reduce working capital requirement
  4. Market Intelligence
    1. Analyzing latest marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning sales & marketing strategies
    2. To provide Market Intelligence on Competitors’ activities, products, prices and market trend and to recommend appropriate response
    3. Monitoring competitor activities and devising effective counter measures
    4. Research and analysis of trends in consumer buying behaviour & patterns
  5. Others:
    1. Coordinating budgets, forecasts and reports & accordingly effectuating business plans to attain maximum sales in Direct Business.
    2. To project correct sales forecast.
    3. To achieve the sales target of Industrial products for the Region/ Key Accounts with the budgeted margin.
  6. People Management
    1. Leading & mentoring the team members to ensure efficiency in process operations & meeting of individual & group targets.
    2. Monitoring & appraising the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations & meeting of individual & group targets

Impart product knowledge & other necessary trainings to team members in order to increase their productivity
